Trash and Recycle Rules
Each home has been issued (1) one, 32 gallon trash toter and (1) one, 32 gallon recycle toter at no charge.
Once a year, in May residents will have the opportunity to upgrade to (1) one large 64 gallon trash toter or obtain an additional 32 gallon toter through the Management Office for a fee.
Trash and Recycling will be collected based on the schedule provided by the Management Office. (Posted on the Community Website)
All recyclables may be co-mingled and placed in the recycling toter provided.
Trash and recycle toters shall not be placed at the curb before 5:00 p.m., on the day before the date of the next scheduled pickup.
On occasion, if you have more trash than can fit in your toter, plastic trash bags may be placed on top of or alongside a toter, only after 6 a.m. on the day of the scheduled pick up. Such trash bags must be manufactured for the purpose of holding trash and must be securely tied. The use of other bags, such as dry-cleaning bags or grocery store bags, are prohibited. If additional bags are consistently (more than twice annually) placed beside your toter, you will receive a violation.
Toters must be placed in your garage unless at the curb for collection services. (Toters may not be left in the back yard, next to the front door, in front of the garage doors, etc.)
Contractors and repairmen retained by homeowners shall clean up and remove all rubbish at the conclusion of each workday for public safety and health reasons.
