 Vacation Notice

This form is used to notify the Monroe Township Police Department that you will be away on vacation. Please be advised that this service is not a guarantee that your home will be safe from any type of crime or natural disaster. An area officer will check your home if time permits on his/her tour of duty. Please submit the online form at least 2 week before your departure, if possible. If you have any questions or return home from your trip early, please contact us at vacationnotice@monroetwppolice.org .

Tips to keep your home safe while your away:

*Use variable automatic timers on a few lights.

*Avoid putting on social media your vacation plans, don’t   post any pictures until you return.

*Hold your mail and newspaper delivery.

*Manually lock your garage doors.

*The key is to make it look like someone is home.
